Tranny Hookups In ‘The New Normal’ – How Do We Proceed?

tranny hookups new normal

The world outside is changing. The pandemic is easing up, at least to some degree. Summer is upon us. Masks mandates are lessening. People are getting vaccinated. And we’re ready to get back out there and find some tranny hookups (or cisgender hookups, depending on us).

But not so fast.

Things aren’t “back to normal” just yet. We still have some ways to go. But as we make our final descent, maybe it’s time to get prepared for what to expect.

Some People May Not Vaccinate

COVID-19 vaccines are here. They are readily available in most states, often just down at your local pharmacy.

And that’s a good thing. Mostly.

Here’s the thing: Not everyone is down with the vaccine. They have fears. Even if those fears are not rooted in science or facts, they remain hesitations that prevent them from going forward with a vaccine.

And because of this, you’ll need to make some decisions. You need to decide if you’re cool with it.

Did you get the vaccine? If so, do you feel confident that it protects you from an unvaccinated person? Do you have a moral issue with someone who takes a pass on the vaccine?

But this quandary digs deeper when we consider that many people may lie about their vaccine status. Asking to see vaccine papers probably doesn’t help your tranny hookup odds. I’m just being honest (yeah, I went there).

At some level, you’ll need to trust people. But mostly, you need to trust yourself. Get the vaccine. Protect yourself. That’s the best start. That’s the CDC recommendation. That’s the Tranny Personals recommendation.

Some People May Drop Their Masks

Get ready, people are peeling masks away from their faces, including in the tranny dating community.

This is because the CDC’s latest recommendation for vaccinated people says masks aren’t needed for most situations. And many private businesses are falling in line with that recommendation, including coffee houses, which are popular first date spots.

Even if you’re fully vaccinated, the tranny hookup your chatting with may want you to mask up. If they do, you can’t be offended. If you don’t want to, they may just not be the right hookup for you. And hey, that’s OK. That’s why we have hookup sites which help us filter down to the people that feel more like our tribe.

The best approach is to decide what you want out of the mask situation. And look for others who share your sentiments and desires over the issue. You don’t want to devolve every conversation into a debate over masks. That’s not going to help you nor benefit your tranny hookup journey.

Some People May Not Be Ready For Public Spaces

People are going to come back. All of them. I really believe that. But it will happen at their own pace. And you shouldn’t try to force your pace upon them.

The last year and a half have been pretty traumatic for us all. Some people in the high-risk COVID categories have lived in a world of fear. Others of us have been taxed and stressed by the shutdown and corresponding isolation. It’s just been a bad experience all around.

And we can’t expect it to just end and we all run out of our houses cheering.

For many people, it may take time to move past the trauma. There may be trust issues and discomfort.

When you start chatting with someone who remains a little uneasy about meeting in person, don’t push. Some people may hesitate about public spaces, like bars or coffee shops. That’s OK. Inquire into what they are comfortable with rather than focusing on what they aren’t comfortable with. No one wants to constantly defend their discomfort.

In other words, keep it positive but be willing and open to make adjustments that help increase comfort for them.

Tranny Hookups are about to go on the rise as summer ensues and more people come out of their homes and more bars and restaurants open back up. But it’s not going to be easy for any of us. There’s a lot to work out, including mentally, for us all. We need to be understanding and empathetic as we all move forward.

The good news is, we’re coming out of this. And exciting times are ahead.
